Welcome to CHIBhistoire
CHIBhistoire is the digital repository of the Hellenic and Intercultural Centre of Brussels.
It presents the digital and digitised part of the Centre’s full archive, offering a representative selection of materials that reflect the history of CHIB and, by extension, the Greek presence in Belgium.
Its purpose is the documentation, preservation and dissemination of documents related to the history, culture and collective memory of the Greek community in Belgium, in support of historical research, education and intercultural understanding.

Materials & Collections
- The newspaper Protoporos (1969–present), in digitised and born-digital editions.
- The Centre’s photographic archive, covering cultural, social and educational events.
- Digitised materials (documents, manuscripts, posters, etc.) from CHIB’s physical archive.
The repository is continuously enriched with new content.

In most cases, the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license applies, allowing free reuse with attribution.
