[el] Το τεύχος Απριλίου 1999 του Ευρωπαρατηρητή επικεντρώνεται στις σχέσεις Ευρώπης και Χριστιανικής Δύσης κατά την είσοδο στη νέα χιλιετία, καθώς και στη συμβολή του Ελληνικού Στρατού στην κατάληψη της Σμύρνης το 1919. Σημαντική θέση κατέχει επίσης η αποκάλυψη μνημείου για την «Ελληνίδα Γυναίκα» από την υπουργό κ. Μαρίκα Παπανδρέου. Στο διπλωματικό πεδίο παρουσιάζεται η συνάντηση του Κύπριου Υπουργού Εξωτερικών Ιωάννη Κασουλίδη με τον Βέλγο Υπουργό Εξωτερικών Ερικ Ντρεϊκ.
[fr] Le numéro d’avril 1999 d’Europaratiritis met l’accent sur les relations entre l’Europe et l’Occident chrétien à l’entrée dans le nouveau millénaire, ainsi que sur la contribution de l’Armée grecque à l’occupation de Smyrne en 1919. Une place importante est également donnée à l’inauguration d’un monument dédié à la « Femme grecque » par la ministre Marika Papandreou. Sur le plan diplomatique, il présente la rencontre du ministre chypriote des Affaires étrangères Ioannis Kasoulides avec le ministre belge Erik Derycke.
[en] The April 1999 issue of Europaratiritis focuses on the relationship between Europe and the Christian West at the dawn of the new millennium, as well as the role of the Greek Army in the occupation of Smyrna in 1919. It also highlights the unveiling of a monument dedicated to the “Greek Woman” by Minister Marika Papandreou. On the diplomatic front, it reports on the meeting between Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and Belgian Foreign Minister Erik Derycke.
